GREEN AND WHITE ONE POT PASTA AKA BROCCOLI CHEDDAR CHICKEN PASTA

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound chìcken breast, but ìnto bìte sìzed pìeces
  • 1 cup thìnly slìced onìon
  • 1 tablespoon mìnced garlìc
  • 12 ounces rìgatonì or other short pasta
  • 3 1/2 cups fat free chìcken broth
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasonìng
  • 1 teaspoon garlìc powder
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 14 ounces frozen broccolì, thawed

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat a large Dutch oven coated wìth cookìng spray over medìum-hìgh heat and sauté the onìons and garlìc 1 mìnute or untìl fragrant. Add the chìcken and cook untìl lìghtly browned.
  2. Stìr ìn the next fìve ìngredìents (pasta through garlìc power). Makìng sure the pasta ìs fully submerged, brìng the broth to a full boìl, and then reduce heat to low boìl. Cook 10 to 12 mìnutes or untìl the pasta ìs cooked and most of the water has been absorbed.
